Behind the Scenes: Tour of the Collection Stores

Step beyond the gallery and discover a side of The Harris rarely seen by the public.

Our new behind-the-scenes tours offer a unique opportunity to explore the museum’s collections stores – home to thousands of objects that don’t make it into the display cases. From fashion and fine art to social history, these spaces reveal the depth and diversity of The Harris collection.

Guided by members of our curatorial team, you’ll gain insight into how collections are stored, cared for and researched. Along the way, you’ll encounter unexpected treasures, hear the stories behind them and learn more about the vital work that happens behind the scenes.

This is your chance to experience The Harris from a new perspective – up close, behind the scenes and full of discovery.
