Reading Heroes Summer Challenge

This summer, we challenge you to be a Reading Hero!

WANTED: Captain A. Eye and his Parrot Polygon. To collect the bounty, become a Reading Hero at The Harris Library.

To become a Reading Hero, read five books and collect exciting prizes along the way, including an inflatable parrot, your very own treasure dig kit, stickers and more!

To become a Reading Superhero, read five books and complete fun tasks and activities. You’ll receive the same exciting prizes, but you’ll also be entered into a prize draw for a £50 Lego kit of your choice!

Have a go at designing your own Reading Heroes Villain. If you win, your villain could even be featured in the next Reading Heroes challenge.

Head down to The Harris from Friday, 26 June to begin the challenge. Sign up for a free library card at our Welcome Desk and explore our Family Library. It’s a magical space full of colourful picture books, entertaining stories, and fun activities to spark imaginations. There’s plenty to choose from to help you complete this year’s challenge.
