The Harris Reading Room, framed by Alexander Frieze, could be your dream wedding space. Seating up to 100 guests, this space offers a romantic and intimate atmosphere suitable for smaller or larger wedding parties. 

With natural light shining through the windows and timeless styling, The Reading Room is ideal for any couple who wants a one-of-a-kind celebration. This distinctive space can be transformed and customised with your own decor such as ribbons or faux flowers to match your perfect vision and colour scheme whilst still incorporating history and art within The Harris. 

The ceremony room hire fee is affordable with standard services including a registrar room for the Celebrants pre-wedding. Extra services include photography on The Harris Balcony and Egyptian Balcony for the Celebrants and guests, welcome signage and post-ceremony fizz and canapes.

Regarding travel, The Harris is the centre of Preston, creating easy and convenient travel options for you and your guests. It’s a short walk from Preston Railway Station with direct rail links to Manchester Airport, London, Midlands and Scotland. Additionally, the M6/M61 are ten minutes away, with 1,000+ car park spaces just a 5 minute walk from the venue. 

In terms of accommodation close by there is the Holiday Inn, Legacy, Winckley Stays and No.10 Preston and hotels further out include the Macdonald Tickled Trout, Marriott and Ibis.
