Through the connection to her brother Anthony, Maryse became something of an in-house mannequin for Horrockses Fashions, and from around the age of 18 she regularly wore dresses either gifted from Horrockses’ shows or made especially for her in the studio, tailored precisely to her petite frame. The dramatic monochromatic check patterned dress is off-set with a pop of pink around the bust and dramatic bow at the back.
