Join us for a delightful and hands-on craft workshop where you’ll create beautiful spring flowers to take home. Let your creativity bloom as Shiryn guides you through the steps, mark making with mixed media to make Spring flower paintings.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar activity is a fun arts and crafts adaptation of the popular preschool book. Making a Caterpillar mask / headband using mixed media pictures of the Hungry Caterpillar and butterflies. Take part in this science experiment to make a wriggly Caterpillar out of paper!

The year is 1024. King Canute has been on the throne for 8 years and Scandinavians and Anglo Saxons are living at peace once more. We are living in the Danelaw on the west side of the pennines, on a crossroads of the old trade routes using the ancient roman roads and the rivers. What is life like for the families living in the Danelaw? This is a storytime and craft session, parental supervision necessary please book to avoid disappointment.

Harris Your Place is a £16 million project set to restore and reimagine the Harris for 21st-century audiences as a cultural learning space. The aim of this project is to protect the building and the architecture for future generations whilst enhancing accessibility options and positioning the Harris as a community hub for Preston and Lancashire.
The capital project is more than simply preserving this much-loved building; Harris wants to ensure that it remains a vibrant heart of the community. A place where people want to spend their time.
