Curator-Led Tour: A Horrible History of Preston

From failed stone age hunts to stinky streets, discover the gruesome history of Preston in this exclusive curator-led tour of The Harris, with all the nasty bits left in!

Join Gemma, The Harris History Curator, for a tour exploring some of the darker stories hidden within our collections.

We’ll trace a different side of Preston’s history through objects on display across the museum. Moving through the Discover Preston Gallery and the current Gallery One exhibition, The World of Martin Brown: Horrible Histories and Other Dazzling Drawings, this tour reveals how the collections can help us uncover the more horrible chapters of the city’s past.
