Horrockses Paper Flower Workshop

Horrockses Fashions: Everyday Glamour and The Art of British Ready-to-Wear opens at The Harris on 19th September 2026, celebrating 80 years of the iconic mid-century British ready-to-wear brand.

At the heart of the exhibition, an immersive Horrockses Garden will bloom across the galleries as an artistic installation inspired by the house’s signature florals, reimagined in vivid, sculptural form.

Step inside the creative process and become part of the exhibition itself.

Join botanical artist Lisa Howard for a hands-on workshop exploring the artistry of paper flower making. Guided by Lisa’s expert eye, you’ll learn delicate cutting and shaping techniques to craft your own expressive, seasonal blooms – transforming paper into objects of beauty and imagination.

Your finished flowers won’t just be keepsakes, they will be carefully curated into the Horrockses Garden installation, displayed on the gallery walls throughout the exhibition. A unique opportunity to see your work exhibited as part of Preston’s most anticipated fashion event of 2026.

When the exhibition draws to a close, your flower will be returned to you as a lasting memento of your contribution to this collective artwork.

Open to adults and creatively curious minds. All materials are provided.
