Sing at Encounter Festival
Your chance to sing at the spectacular space of The Harris Rotunda!
County of Song and Encounter Festival are looking for participants to join Encounter Voices’ Loz Kaye, Heartbeat, Songbirds and Connect Community choirs for a song sharing celebrating singing itself – the power of lyrics to lift the spirits, and the joy of finding your voice through music.
The public sharing will take place in the splendid space of the rotunda of the newly refurbished Harris. The event is inspired by the work Lancashire’s choirs are doing to make singing more inclusive and boost health, well-being and social connection.
To take part in the sharing you’ll need to take part in one or both of our “Sing!” preparation workshops, more information and booking here:
11am – 1pm | Saturday, 5 September
11am – 1pm | Saturday, 19 September
or
Book on to participate in the sharing itself at 2pm on Saturday, 19 September
This sharing forms part of “Lean on Me”, a season showcasing inclusive singing across Lancashire led by County of Song.
