What We Remember: Stories of Possessions and Service

On Remembrance Sunday, discover the powerful, personal stories behind military service through the eyes of two Preston-born reservists.

Join Corporal Carl Walkden and Lance Corporal Andrew Forster of the Duke of Lancaster Regiment as they launch their podcast that discusses the personal possessions that carried deep meaning during their time as soldiers. From inspiring them through tough times to keeping them connected to home, these everyday items hold the personal associations, identities and memories of their time in the Armed Forces.

The podcast will be officially launched at The Harris with an introduction to the project, a Q & A with participants and an exclusive opportunity to look at the physical items featured in the podcast.

This event is part of the Veteran’s Vox project coordinated by The University of Lancashire.
