Expect a vibrant mix of creative workshops, community sessions, and inspiring talks, all designed to bring people together and celebrate local talent.
Keep an eye on this space – we’ll be unveiling the full programme very soon. And while you’re here… something big is coming. Our opening exhibition is shaping up to be something special.

A Taste of What’s to Come…
October will see The Harris buzzing with hands-on creativity. Ever wanted to try natural yarn dyeing? Or dive into the world of contemporary art with a frieze cut-out workshop inspired by Khaled Hafez’s new commission. For the tech-curious, we’ve got beginner-friendly coding sessions, while little ones can enjoy the return of Baby Bounce and Rhyme. And for those wanting to sharpen their skills, our life drawing sessions are back.
In November, things get festive and community-focused. Stitch your own vintage-style collar in our sewing workshop, or get into the seasonal spirit at the Christmas Craft Fair. There’s a strong focus on wellbeing and support this month too, with drop-in chats hosted by Lancashire Mind, one-to-one guidance from a Youth Work Coach, and employability sessions.
Young people can explore their creativity in a series of supportive, self-led art workshops. Meanwhile, Community Roots will be hosting regular health and wellbeing sessions at The Harris, and our drop-in Community Art Group continues to be a welcoming space to meet, create, and share.
