Nick Park Nomination Competition – Terms & Conditions
- Eligibility:
- Nominees must live in a Preston postcode area (postcodes beginning with PR).
- Nominations can be made by anyone, but each person may only submit one nomination.
- Nominees must be available to attend both:
- The press preview event on Friday, 26 September 2025.
- The public opening of The Harris on Sunday, 28 September 2025.
- By participating in this competition, all winning nominees must consent to the use of their image to be used in promotional materials, including but not limited to photographs, videos, and social media posts, created by The Harris, Preston City Council and Aardman Animations. This consent is granted without compensation and may be used for marketing and promotional purposes in perpetuity.
- How to Enter:
- Nominations can be submitted:
- All nominations must include:
- Full name and contact of the nominee.
- A short explanation of why they should be selected.
- Nominations open on Wednesday, 23 July 2025 and close at 11:59pm on Monday, 1 September 2025.
- Selection Process:
- Six winners will be selected by random draw from eligible nominations.
- Selected individuals will be contacted by Friday, 5 September 2025.
- If any selected individuals are unable to attend, reserves may be contacted.
- The Prize:
- A meet and greet with Nick Park.
- Participation in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at The Harris.
- No monetary value or alternative prize will be offered.
- General Terms and Conditions:
- By submitting a nomination, you confirm you have the nominee’s permission to share their details.
- Nominee contact information will only be used for the purposes of this competition.
- The decision of The Harris team is final and no correspondence will be entered into following the winners announcement.
- The Harris reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition if necessary.
