Invitation to Tender: AV software for Harris Your Place project

We are now inviting organisations to express interest in the role of AV Software supplier for the Harris Your Place project.

Harris Your Place is a £16million project set to restore and reimagine the Harris for 21st-century audiences as a community, cultural and learning space.

When the new Harris opens, inventive blended displays will give access to remarkable collections. New spaces have been designed to activate curiosity, creativity and reflection and offer library services in enriched settings. Positioning the Harris as a uniquely blended venue, true to its original purpose.

Working with a range of project partners, the Harris are creating experiences that blend our fine, decorative, contemporary art and history collections with access to historic book collections and lending and reference libraries.

Scope of the Project

The role will be to develop and deliver AV software as defined by the briefs provided with the invitation to tender. The AV will provide secondary interpretation, encourage engagement and participation, showcase diverse voices, and provide insight into collections.

This is part of the interpretation and fit-out of the Harris Your Place project which will see a blended approach delivered across the museum, library, and art gallery. The wider project will see conservation and development works to The Harris, alongside an activity programme. This is a National Lottery Heritage Fund funded project.
