Mixed Media Artist Workshop: Chloe’s Fashion

Join pARTnership artist Chloe Macfarlane for a dynamic collage workshop inspired by her love of fashion and art!

You’ll meet Chloe in The Studio before heading upstairs for a brief artist talk in Gallery 2, where she is currently exhibiting new work ‘Chloe’s Fabric’, as part of a group show ‘The Big Picture‘. She will explain her inspiration for the piece, her processes and the wide range of media she uses to make her work.

We’ll then head back to The Studio where Chloe will guide participants to make their own fashion based artworks using magazines, paint sticks, marker pens and collage. Chloe’s work is full of colour, pattern and energy so expect to have a lot of fun!

Using The Harris Collection as a jumping off point, The Big Picture brings together an ambitious and vibrant collection of contemporary work spanning painting, sculpture, and mixed media, made by artists from The pARTnership, a visual arts development project working with learning disabled artists in Blackpool, led by Grundy Art Gallery.
