Natural Forms Lino Printing Led by Harris Open Artist Grace

Art and Creative workshop for young people aged 14-19.

In this Natural Forms Lino Print Workshop, young artists will explore the beauty of the natural world through the bold, graphic process of lino printing. Inspired by organic shapes, plants, shells, insects, and landscapes, participants will learn how to transform observational sketches into striking print designs.

The session introduces the fundamentals of relief printmaking, including safe carving techniques, mark-making, inking, and hand-printing methods. Participants will experiment with texture, pattern, positive and negative space, and contrast to create expressive, high-quality prints.

By the end of the workshop, each artist will have produced their own unique lino print and gained practical printmaking skills, creative confidence, and a deeper appreciation for natural forms in art.

No prior experience is needed – just curiosity and creativity!
