Thursday Art Club – Mixed Media and Mocktails
Join us for a joyful, no-pressure art course.
Mixed Media & Mocktails is a joyful, no-pressure art course designed to help adults explore creativity in an accessible and social way. Each week offers a new artistic technique, from gel printing and collage to expressive watercolour and mark making – all suitable for complete beginners and returning creatives.
The final session will bring everything together with a simple handbound book made from papers created in previous sessions, giving participants the chance to reflect on their experiences and take home a completed project.
Sessions will be presented in a warm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere – with a jug or two of non-alcoholic mocktails to encourage conversation and creative courage. The aim is to create an inclusive, accessible event for everybody.
Please note this event is running as part of a six week course running every Thursday evening 2/10/2025 – 6/11/25.
Session 1: Let Loose with Line
Playful warmups and abstract markmaking to break the ice. Variety of tools and media, including pencil, crayon, charcoal.
Session 2: Paint in Flow

Session 3: Print Party
